Jackson, by Mark, Instrument:  Deed of Gift, Dated May 5, 1829 Record Book A, Page 385.  William
Jackson to Andrew Jackson and James Jackson, of Wayne County, Tennessee. I, William Jackson, convey
unto my loving nephews Andrew Jackson and James Jackson, sons of my brother James Jackson of Wayne
County, tract of land on Forty Eight Mile Creek in Range 8 Section and 8th District 25 acres and for
and in consideration of many good cause to me known as well as my natural affection... B.D.Matthews
and Clarisa Staggs, by mark. Note Clarisa Staggs, maiden name was Clarisa Wilson, sister to Elizabeth
Wilson Brewer, wife of George W. Brewer, & Elizabeth Wilson Brewer is the Mother of Richard M. J.
Brewer.

Francis Staggs Jackson died in 1893, as per the records of the Salem Church records, Wayne County,
Tennessee, page 66. Fannie was May or June 1873 in the church.  He husband was William James Jackson,
Sgt. 19th Biffle Caverly, CSA, he died between 1865 and 1867. but was home to father my Great
Grandfather William James (Bose) Jackson.
