From Garry Wayne Brewer:

William: Company A, 19th Biffle Cavarly, Wayne County, Tennessee, Sgt.  Captured on 24th December
1864 after the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee, 19th Biffle were burning the bridges to stop the Union
Army.  William was sent to Nashville, Tennessee, then on to Camp Chase, Ohio.  He died in Wayne
County in 1867, grave site unknown. thought to be in Walnut Grove or Salem Baptist Church.

Sophrona living in Wayne County with new husband William James Jackson, son of Andrew Jackson &
Francis Staggs. 1870 living in Wayne County, widow, husband died in 1867, Wayne County, Jane Jackson
is living next to her father, John A. Suaratt, widower 54, and next to her widowed mother in law,
Fanny Jackson, widow of Andrew Jackson, died 1862.  Alive in 1880, Wayne County, Tennessee, no 1890
census, 1900 Census, all three of her children are living in Wayne County, but she in not there, must
have died between 1880 and 1900, no known gravesite.
