I checked the catalog for the National Genealogical Society Library. If you
are a member or friend of a member, any of these could be borrowed by mail.
Alternatively, the books might be available in various other genealogical
libraries. I do not know how many branches of the BLACKBURN family that
there are, so whether the books are for unique family lines or overlap, I
don't know. From pages 21, 22 of the NGSL catalog:

  in re BLACKBURN

The book, Our Blackburn Branch, 1759-1989, the family history and
descendents of James A. Blackburn of Alabama, 590 pages, has just been
published by the Association of Blackburn and Fry Families.

James A. Blackburn was born about 1759 in England, and died before Oct. 1831
in Jefferson Co. AL. There is discussion of an unclaimed estate in England
valued at $8M.

James enlisted from SC in the Continental Army in May 1778, served as a
private in Capt. Zielincki's company of Count Pulaski's Independent Corps of
Dragoons, was wounded at the seige of Savannah by a shot in the right leg and
a sword cut half through his left foot. He was hosptilized, then discharged
at Charleston.

He filed his pension application in Anderson County TN in April 1818.
His son James and his son Joel both served in the War of 1812 from Anderson
County.

The Blackburns then moved to Blount County AL before 1820. The book covers
many of the descendents of James, with emphasis on the descendents of his son
Joel Blackburn.

These Blackburns were mostly in Alabama, and then in East and Central Texas by
the 1870s.

I have a copy of the book, and can check for your Blackburns.
